I teach in the areas of political sociology, sociological theory, environmental sociology, science & technology studies (STS), and social research methods.

 

All of my teaching emphasizes the power of dialogue, the exercise of critical thinking, engagement with empirical research and the messiness of our world, and the capacity to make a better society than the one we currently inhabit and is socially, and daily, reproduced.
